Lash lifts are semi-permanent eyelash treatments that enhance the look of your eyelashes. Lash lifts create the appearance of longer, fuller lashes, and do so without the use of an eyelash curler. This treatment creates more definition for your eyes with an eyelash curl while sparing you the unpleasantness of using an eyelash curler. There's no added worry either, as you can wear makeup and rub your eyes without your natural lashes being weighed down.

Schedule Lash Lift Treatments

Lash lifts work by using keratin (proteins) to strengthen your lashes. The effective results of lash lift treatments can last for six to eight weeks. Lash lifts at Ambridge Rose Spa & Salon take just 30 minutes; 60 minutes if you’re adding a tint. 

Talk to one of our certified lash lift technicians at Ambridge Rose Spa & Salon about ways to enhance your eyelashes, including lash lifts. We will let you know if lash lifts are right for you. Lash lifts are not recommended for anyone with eye conditions like conjunctivitis, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, skin conditions around the eye area (eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis), recent eye infections, alopecia, or trichotillomania. 

If you’re coming to us for a lash lift, arrive with makeup-free eyes and lashes and leave your contacts out as well. Eye makeup should be removed with gentle soap, not an oil or oil-free remover. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment. Do not use mascara or tan for 24 hours after the lift. You also should not use waterproof mascara for 48 hours before the lift or at all after (although one-day use for a special occasion is OK).

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Eyelash extensions are an application used to enhance the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of your natural eyelashes.
  • Your first appointment will take approximately 120 minutes. During your appointments, your eyes will be closed the entire time. This is your time to take a mid-day nap.
  • Eyelash extensions are customizable. There are many different lengths, curls and diameters of eyelash extensions as well as different looks that can be created. Take a look at pictures and see what look you may want to try. Our technicians will go over looks that will fit the best with the shape of your eyes.
  • Maintenance is easy! We suggest a fill every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. If you want them to last longer, be careful about how much you touch and rub your eyes. Brush your lashes daily. You will receive a lash brush at your appointment that will be able to be used.
  • You can wear makeup. The best part of extensions is you can ditch your mascara and eyelash curler, but that doesn't mean you CAN'T wear eye makeup. If you a winged eyeliner or a smokey eye, go right ahead and rock your look. Make sure to remove any makeup with an oil-free makeup remover.
  • Eyelash extensions are not permanent. If you want to take a break from extensions there are a couple of ways to remove them. We recommend coming back to the salon and have a trained technician remove them, or they can just grow out with your natural lashes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

To ensure your lashes stay beautiful, proper care and maintenance is REQUIRED. To get the most out of your lashes, please follow the care instructions below:

DO NOT:
  • Allow water to touch your lashes for 48 hours (the adhesive takes 24-48 hours to fully cure).
  • Steam face, use steam baths, swim or wash face with hot water (for the first 48 hours).
  • Use tanning beds
  • Allow direct shower water to hit face.
  • Allow shampoo, conditioner, or cleansers near lashes.
  • Use a lash curler, as it will break the bond and your natural lash.
  • Allow direct heat to your lashes (blow dryers, ovens, tanning beds, etc.).
  • Rub eyes or lashes when washing face (always pat lashes dry after cleansing)
  • Use mascara
  • PICK, RUB, or TUG on lashes
  • Use oily products near lashes (it will break down the adhesive)
  • Perm, Tint, or Curl lashes
DO:
  • Brush lashes daily
  • Wash your lashes with a non-oily lash wash every 1-2 days
  • Gently remove any eye makeup upwards and away from the lash line.
  • Make sure to schedule your lash fills every 2-3 weeks.
  • Sleep on a silk pillow case or with a silk mask to avoid pulling while sleeping.
  • Call if you have any irritations, redness, or itchiness.
** If you have any issues or concerns with your lashes within the first 48 hours, please call the salon at 814.836.9898. Anything outside of the 48 hours will be considered an appointment and will have an appointment fee attached with it.
